Grass jelly and coconut milk dessert drink
Grass jelly and coconut milk dessert drink is very healthy, delicious food which attracts lots of people. The refreshing, tender grass jelly, the chewy, the greasy coconut milk blend wonderfully.
INGREDIENTS:
50g Grass jelly Powder
500ml coconut milk
150g white sugar
200ml fresh milk without sugar
10g tapioca flour
2 tablespoons chia seeds
1 teaspoon salt
1.2 liters of water.
HOW TO MAKE:
STEP 1: MAKING GRASS JELLY
Mix 50g of grass jelly powder and 150g white sugar.
Add 1l of water to the mixture of white grass jelly powder and sugar, stir until the mixture melts in water. Leave for 10 minutes.
Cook the mixture of grass jelly powder, white sugar, and water, stir continuously until thickened, continue cooking for 5 minutes, stop cooking.
Pour the mixture into a rectangular mold, when it is cooled down, put it into the refrigerator.
When the mixture is jellied, cut the jelly into cubes or any shape at your wish.
STEP 2: COOKING COCONUT MILK SAUCE
This is quite an important step to decide if this food is delicious or not.
You put the pot on the stove with 200ml of water. When you notice the water is boiling, add sugar and stir. (1)
Put the tapioca flour in a small bowl, pour a little water and stir well to dissolve the tapioca starch, then put the tapioca water into the sugar water(1), stir until the sugar water clears.
Then you add coconut milk, condensed milk, fresh milk until boiling, cool the sauce down.
STEP 3: SOAK CHIA SEEDS
You put 2 tablespoons of chia seeds in a bowl of clean water, soak for about 10 minutes until the seeds soften and can be used.
STEP 4: COMPLETE AND ENJOY
After the grass jelly has frozen, take it out, cut it into small squares and put it in a bowl or glass.
Next, you pour the coconut milk on the jelly grass, add a little chia seeds on top and you can enjoy it. If you like, you can add some crushed ice to make it cooler.
